and foreigners tourists and it is really hard to find the accommodation
for weekend (Friday & Saturday night) or for the high season. So, early
booking is recommend coz a lot of people will be there to have a great
vacation !

Remark:
1. The island is state owned (there is an
entrance fee for Koh Samet at 200 Baht for adults and half price for
children) so developments are strictly controlled by the government.
2. The weather on the island is more
comfortable than inland area. However, the rainy season runs from May to
September with normal to heavy rains, high surges and monsoons in June.
