northeast coast of Samui Island in the Gulf of Thailand,
The Tongsai Bay is set in 25 acres of
beautiful gardens and designed to blend harmoniously with the
surroundings. This is the only luxury resort with a private beach in
Samu

We Plan to
start the project on 16th October 2010 and be operating as normal on 15
December at the very latest.
Work
will start at 08:30 a.m. and finish at 05:30 p.m.
The
whole project area will be cordoned off with a high bamboo screen
hiding it from the beach and the pool area.
We will
operate 2 restaurants normally throughout the renovation i.e. Chef
Choms and The Bulters Restaurant and will offer the Po-Lad Menus,
the Butlers Bar will operate from 11:00 a.m. till late.
Please
be clear that the only possible areas of disturbance for guest will
be on the beach and around the main pool.
We
anticipate no disturbance what so ever to our rooms and villas (even
during the day). However as a precaution we will allocate rooms as
far away from the project as possible.
We will
host a cocktail party every night (06:00 p.m. / 07:00 p.m.) for the
duration of the project which will give us the opportunity to meet
regularly with the guest.
During
this Monsoon time, beach activity will be restricted anyway with the
usual stronger winds and high tides. we are forecasting an occupancy
of around 30%.
On the
positive side, the new look Po-Lad will soon be one of the fines dining
facilities on the island.
