Zazen Bungalows is a charming small hotel that has existed for more than 25 years. It was founded by mister Wa Fathaveeporn who is now 73 years old. Born in Hainan (China) he lived all his life in Koh Samui with his wife Mrs Somboun Suksom who was a local girl from Koh Samui. Mister Wa used to go fishing with his sons while his wife stayed at home to educate their nine children.

Restaurant

Dining at Zazen's is a delight as much for the romantic setting as well as for the choice of culinary styles. The restaurant and its terrace covered by a wooden pergola offers breathtaking views of the nearby islands of Koh Phangan and Koh Som as well as the whole bay of Bophut.

Delicious fresh seafood speciality dishes from around the world or traditional Thai fare are part of your dining options. The Restaurant offers the freshest seafood, including Sea bass, Red snapper, Barracuda, Shark, Squid, Prawns and Lobster.

Tropical cocktails and an extensive selection of wines provide something special for everyone.

Our Beach Bar

Our beach bar is located right on the edge of the water. This is the place where you can enjoy a great pool game with your partner or play table soccer with some friends. This "very lounge" bar plays great music, serves fantastic drinks and, if you are into snacking, some light meals.

The bungalows at Zazen are famous for their orange sun-washed Mediterranean color with traditional red-tiled roofs nestled amid a fragrant garden, lotus pond and balmy coconut groves beside a palm fringed stretch of golden sandy beach.

Each room is designed like a small and elegant Thai home with beautiful wooden and terracotta tiled floors, wide glass fronted doors and a large veranda overlooking the beach or gardens.

Modern amenities have been discreetly incorporated into the tradition of Thai style ambiance.

	Three adults’ maximum per bungalow.
	Arport transfer if required is 250 Baht per person each way. Children under 6 years old are FREE of charge.
	Check out time is NOON. Check in time is 14:00 hrs. We cannot guarantee early check-in but we will always do everything possible to assist including offering a temporary bungalow if (and only if) available. Late check-out (up to 5 pm latest) will be given at no extra charge if that particular bungalow is not required the same day by incoming guest. If not possible, we will either offer another bungalow or failing that, we have changing and shower facilities as well as a secure luggage room.
	ZAZEN BOUTIQUE RESORT& SPA organizes both Buddhist Thai and Western Weddings. Each wedding package costs 70,000 Baht.

Cancellation / No Show / Amendment Charges:

	must be made within 30 days prior to arrival date, otherwise a late cancellation fee of 1 night/room will be applied.
	Amendment; Please inform us at least longer than 30 day for Peak Season or 15 days for other seasons prior of each booking arrival date.
	If the booking is cancelled more than 15 days prior to the Gala Dinner date the deposit will be refunded, less bank handing charges of 15% . Less than 15 days, no deposit will be refunded.
	Early check outs; the deposit will be non-refundable.
	No show is subject to a fully day rate charge.
