Flight
connections to Krabi are made easily through Bangkok's Don
Muang International Airport. Thai Airways operates 3 to 4
daily flights (1hr20); P.B. Air (based in Bangkok) also
operates 2 flights a week. The resort can also be reached by
flying to Trang Airport where Thai Airways flies daily. Silk
Air operates 3 weekly direct flights from Singapore to Krabi
Airport.
Transfer
to Lanta Island
Transportation
from Krabi, Phuket or Trang Airport can be arranged; it consists of
a 50 minutes drive from Krabi Airport, 3hr from Phuket Airport and
1hr20 from Trang Airport followed by a scenic ride (50 minutes)
along the coast of Lanta Islands on the resort's air conditioning
cruising boat, that will take you right at the resort's beach.
From May to October the boat trip is followed by an additional 45
minutes drive (total 2 hr 30 min from Krabi Airport). Guests have an
opportunity to discover part of the island and its forest as we
across the island by 4X4 east to west coast to reach Pimalai... a
little bit bumpy but adventurous and might be lucky to see some big
lizards or monkeys.
