This famous 8-tiered waterfall which is located at Km. 7 along the Mae Rim-Samoeng route is situated in a natural setting among towering trees and has a lovely breeze flowing throughout the year. It is an ideal recreational spot for both residents and visitors.

Tourists often combine this waterfall with Maesa Elephant camp and Maesa Orchid Farm. They are all on the same route.

Mae Sa Waterfall is about 25 kilometers north of Chiang Mai on the Mae Rim-Samoeng Road. A number Songtaews are available from the city to the waterfall.
